Composer and pianist Frank Giasullo and drummer Pat Tamminen joined UK jazz greats Art Themen on tenor and soprano saxophone and David Green on bass to create an eloquent transatlantic quartet.
The group’s blend of original material, jazz standards and signature soloing moves easily from cool blue to warm and lush. Thoughtful ensemble playing, a laid-back groove and an expressive repertoire give the quartet a rare naturalness that rewards repeated listening.
